Milan, Italy
Fuorisalone 2024 hosted INCIPIT, an installation that celebrates the harmony between tradition and innovation in the furniture and architecture sectors. The new Milanese location, situated on Via Santa Maria Fulcorina, transformed an ancient carpentry workshop into a stage for craftsmanship.

In the first room, our A/FRESCO recovers the beauty of Umbrian farmhouses, revitalizing materials and places with colors ranging from Assisi stone to southern villages. Every detail, from textures to grain sizes, offers infinite possibilities for adaptation and transformation, surpassing the limits of the material itself and reflecting an idea of order within complexity.
Continuing into the second room, the space is filled with linen velvet, chosen for its interplay of light and shadow, enveloping it in refined comfort while celebrating our artisanal knowledge. In our Emporium of Assisi, a timeless collection of Italian and European design, from the 1600s to today, creates a silent dialogue between past and present, uniting busts and capitals from the 19th century with pieces from the 1950s.

Ascending to the third room, one feels as though they are entering a glassware workshop, where the proportion between the workbench and the light highlights the care and respect involved in the creation process. Our brand emphasizes the importance of balancing materials and treating light as a precious asset, inviting reflection on the value of craftsmanship born from dedication and attention to detail.
As we continue through the space, we find ourselves in a place of introspection and self-reflection.

SPACCAPAN\CO is where we contemplate what we have already accomplished and where we wish to head in the future. Here, we explore our projects, aspirations, and ideas that take shape in the environments we inhabit, thus contributing to the rich tapestry of our experiences.

In the fifth scene of the corridor before entering the material library, we catch glimpses of the many faces and facets that projects can have. 18th-century marionette heads impress the viewer and invite curiosity.

Peeking behind the curtain reveals the material library: travertine, wood, marble, all reflecting our bespoke approach to design, where every material arises from a need or request. We communicate the “it can be done” attitude; the problem with craftsmanship is that if there is no experience, it cannot be done. For us, however, it is a process that naturally arrives at its completeness.
Our mission is to pass on a thought based on the continuous study of models and proportions, allowing us to be inspired by objects from the past.

Matter communicates with everything around it; it is not compartmentalized but rather interacts and contaminates; it is not alone.
