Guido Faleschini sideboard for Hermès ’70s

The five-module sideboard designed by Guido Faleschini for Hermès stores embodies the elegance and prestige of 1970s French design. The doors of the sideboard can be seen as solid or transparent thanks to the use of smoked glass. All the edges of the sideboard are finished with silver metal details that mark the contours and the number of shelves in the central unit. The silver is echoed in the detail of the handle, which is seemingly classic with its circular shape, but is made unique by the combination with a leather loop: the rigidity of the silver ring combines with the malleability of the leather to create a distinctive opening system. The dark marble worktops with grey veins add a touch of refinement and luxury, making this sideboard a timeless style icon.
