Trasimeno Lake, Umbria, Italy
Located in the heart of the historic center of Perugia, this residence is part of the precious architectural heritage dating back to the 17th century. The project focused on the restoration and enhancement of historical decorations, which were brought to light after careful cleaning and overlaying with rice paper.
The space is characterized by a refined play of colors that pays homage to the late 19th-century Perugian art, particularly to the atelier of Domenico Bruschi.
The chestnut wooden floor, adorned with brass inlays, creates an elegant central diamond that unites tradition and modernity. The sharp geometric lines of the furnishings harmoniously integrate with the rounded shapes of the table and armchairs, generating an eclectic and stimulating ensemble.
The use of brass, a symbol of prestige and character, imbues the residence with a warm brightness that evolves over time, reflecting the history and identity of this splendid space. The noble surfaces welcome light and multiply it, creating a warm and suggestive atmosphere.
