About us

“It can be done” because living means getting your hands dirty.

SPACCAPAN\CO is a company in constant search of beauty as a necessary part of every creative action. Skilled craftsmen give shape to ideas through meticulous workmanship that is, by its very nature, bespoke.

Our Place “Detail is difference between ordinary and extraordinary”

Inspired by Assisi and its medieval ambience, by the rough walls that surround Umbria’s small hamlets and the simple architecture of its country houses, ours is a reinterpretation of the expertise passed down by our Etruscan ancestors.

SPACCAPAN\CO brings together a studio of designers and a production centre made up of technicians and master craftsmen who put their experience and know-how at the service of each project, modulating tradition and modernity.

Our values

The sense of doing “All good things take time”.

Every day, we celebrate the ritual of tailoring, the talent backed up by experience, the dedication of painstaking work, the relentless search for beautiful, well-made things.
Our philosophy envisions a future in which human hands will continue to interpret desires better than any machine, transforming them into meaningful objects that leave their mark. Pieces of luxurious restraint, proving that beauty is in the detail and not in the exaggeration.
The boundaries between art, craftsmanship and design are blurred, revealing the richness and diversity of an emotion-driven production of high material, formal and expressive quality. An eclectic approach that defines a precise, recognisable stylistic signature and lends a sophisticated appeal to any environment: soft colours and inviting textures create tactile pleasures in intimate spaces.

The empathy of spaces “Architecture is the art of human connection with space and with other human beings.” (Gio Ponti)

The home is the place that reflects and protects our intimacy: in the development of any environment, the well-being of those who use it is a priority. Like a suit that enhances the identity of each person, the concept of how we furnish and decorate our spaces makes us unique.

While each project has its own meaning, they all reflect a precise aesthetic: attention to every technical aspect related to light, the importance of materials and their consistency, the emphasis on colour and a palette that links every detail of an environment. The balance between personality, quality and design, between vintage touches and modern proposals, is evident in every corner.

Taking care cūra [cură], curae

What constitutes the brand is an architecture that takes care of spaces, materials and objects as a consequence of a principle of necessity. Designing is approached with the same care as finding a cure.

The meaning of caring matures in a dimension of temporality, attention can be a momentary, idle interest, caring is not: it follows a process, a project that evolves between past, present and future. It is a concept without synonyms.

Owner\Concept Maker

Mirko “We start from any detail, sometimes of little importance, and unwittingly we come to discover great principles.” (Georges Simenon)

Mirko’s parents, Marcello and Giovanna, founded the metal artisan workshop in 1981. It is precisely in the family workshops that Mirko trains, in direct contact with the materials, of which he has always felt their expressive power. Born from experience and know-how, his approach is inevitably first tactile and then visual.

Continuing the company’s 30-year tradition, he experiments with unusual alliances between clay, wood, metals, stones and textiles, stopping only when the juxtapositions become alchemy, capturing attention and provoking a sense of wonder.

He collects antique and modern pieces and takes care of their restoration, not simply to restore their original beauty, but to preserve the uniqueness of each element in every detail, respecting its history and place of origin. This immense heritage of memories becomes a source of inspiration for new design elements. It is a circular process that enhances the imperfections and optimises the usability of the objects by means of technological devices that create an even more precious narrative.

The passion for architecture and the ability to boldly juxtapose different materials, colours and textures define a precise and recognisable taste, a signature that has been appreciated by major international brands.
