Dining table unit

Conceived as a space rather than an object, this circular system organizes conviviality around a shared center. The structure, compact and continuous, accommodates eight upholstered seats in tea-grey leather, defining a perimeter that invites interaction. There is no head of the table: every position is equal, every gesture oriented toward the center.
The base does more than support it contains. Sliding drawers and illuminated compartments hold what belongs to the ritual of dining, making it accessible without interrupting the continuity of the whole.
Surfaces are treated as material. The doors and central table are finished in A\FRESCO MATERIA, a composition of natural fibers, such as jute, combined with stone powder, giving a deeply tactile and material quality. The travertine top engages in dialogue with the structure and the central brass platform, creating a balance between weight and reflection.
