Dormeuse

Inspired by European multifunctional furniture from the 1930s to the 1950s, this piece is grounded in a simple idea: space is not given, it is shaped. A single body that changes function without changing identity: sofa, bed, storage, following the gestures of everyday life with ease. The dark wood structure, marked by a diamond-pattern texture, has a solid, almost architectural presence. The upholstery introduces a more domestic dimension, without disrupting this balance. Drawers and compartments open where needed, without announcing themselves. The interiors, fully wired and finished in A\FRESCO, are treated with the same care as the visible surfaces. It does not seek to occupy space, but to make it inhabitable.
