These wicker filters were traditionally used in the olive oil production process to filter the oil from solid residues and water. They were woven with natural wicker or reed fibres around a frame to form a kind of basket or porous container. Today, these elements are reinterpreted as a wall installation, taking advantage of their circular shape and perforated centre to create a geometric work of art.
