“Patchwork” wall lamps, Venini, 1970
Venini, a surname that itself recalls the story of the Milanese lawyer Paolo Venini and the Venetian antique dealer Giacomo Cappellin, who in 1921 began their entrepreneurial journey by choosing glass as the absolute protagonist of their company. This set of beautiful and very rare wall lamps was designed by Toni Zuccheri for the Patchwork series launched by the company in the 1970s. The lamps are made of heat-treated transparent glass and the frame is in lacquered metal with brass details. The amber tone of the glass defines the true works of art, capable of speaking through light.
