SOUL OF THINGS

A jewel of the 13th century, the Hermitage, where time seems to stand still.

The entrance to the cloister, with its elegant architecture, leads to enchanting open spaces and a small church from the 14th century, adorned with frescoes celebrating the Madonna della Valle. Here, on the first floor, the former cells whisper secrets of reflection, while the loggia invites contemplation. On the ground floor, the traces of the former stables and the oven tell the story of the transformation from a place of prayer to a farmhouse, and an external well, a silent witness to the daily needs of the monks, enriches the atmosphere steeped in spirituality and history.

In this magical setting, we found space for our objects. Chairs, armchairs, and tables, chosen carefully, harmonize with the historic architecture, creating convivial and contemplative zones. Each piece becomes an integral part of a unique narrative, capturing a moment of transition between tradition and modernity.

The Hermitage not only serves as the backdrop for our photographic project, but it also transforms into a stage where history and design merge, offering a sensory experience that celebrates the beauty of time and the freedom of nature.

A flash, a moment of transition that we wanted to document in a place that will be revisited with the delicacy of a historian and the dedication of a restorer.
