Milan, Fuorisalone 2025
Milano is an incredible stage for exchange and learning for all of us passionate about beauty, culture, and art. We are enthusiastically integrating ourselves into the vibrant life of Milan: our space, \CO MILANO, located at Via Santa Maria Fulcorina 17, was once an ancient restoration workshop, which has contributed to weaving a deep bond with the creative essence of this city. We envision a lifestyle in which objects and spaces narrate the personality of those who inhabit them; they are living things, pulsating with meaning. We like to think that each piece continues to write its own story, in a journey that passes from home to home and from hand to hand. Rather than simply presenting a collection, we evoke and make tangible a mark of taste that flows from the finishes of metals to the contrasts between eras, from the hues of leathers to the handles of a drawer.
For Fuorisalone, we have conceived an installation that proposes the antrum – from the Latin “antrum” meaning cave – the most intimate space of our artisan, a curious and passionate individual who has shaped their knowledge through continuous research. The very suffix of the term artisan defines their work: it is inspired by the bifronted god Janus, the guide and creator of the passage for every object with which it comes into contact across past, present, and future. They are the ones who think with their hands, drawing not only from recognized masters but also from those who remained anonymous yet left behind objects that, in their own right, tell the wisdom of their designers and makers.
